This course is perfect for sports coaches, first aiders and parents who need to have a good understanding of first aid for sporting activities. In addition to gaining a nationally recognised Emergency First Aid at Work qualification (that meets the standards recommended by the Health and Safety Executive) it will additionally cover topics such as head and spinal injuries, as well as fractures and sprains/strains. The instructor has significant experience as both a sports coach (particularly rugby) and as a first responder at such events and this course has been developed to fully deliver the requirements of numerous sports governing bodies, including the RFU and UK Athletics.
